The Online Party of Canada launches website with NextTree!

The buzzword as of late is “Democracy 2.0″ and NextTree is leading the way! The Online Party of Canada (Canada’s newest political party) turned to NextTree to design and build their interactive website. The website acts as the official party platform for debate and discussion.

We helped the Online Party conceptualize and build a discussion-based website that would allow their party candidates to post issues, and allow the Canadian public at large help shape official party policy by voting and commenting on these issues. Online Party staff have full control over every aspect of the website through a robust backend management system custom developed by NextTree. The system is designed to scale as support for the party grows.

The front-end website includes features to encourage Canadians to participate in the political arena. Voting, comments and Facebook integration are just a few items we’ve developed that allow the party to capture the “pulse” of Canadians. And we continue to add new features to ensure that their vision of a viable internet-based political party will become a reality.
